choc addict needs help |

ever since i have returned from the ashram in india my chocolate cravings have decreased - if not gone. but today i got this chocolate easter bunny and ate all
of it. even worse, got all the food cravings again.... had more choc, pizza and spaghetti. ate as much as before the ashram trip. ever since the ashram my
hunger rate has decreased, appetite is gone, i eat very controlled and disciplined... but not today. so afraid that i will lose all the discipline regarding
food that i learned in india. everyone tells me that daily yoga will keep me disciplined regarding food (my only vice - but a big one especially when it comes
to sweets) but i am not so sure and concerned...

Accept you've swung from one extreme to another and move on. Discipline learned in a controlled environment is not really discipline anyway. Moderate
rather than exclude, otherwise you'll be permanently beating yourself up. Changing these sorts of habits takes time.

What's wrong with being a chocolate addict?!? The important thing is not to feel bad about it! If you practice ashtanga yoga every day, shouldn't be a
problem at all. I need the sugar for the practice! Especially late night chocolate is the best, practice after late night chocolate makes me really bendy:-)

Ha ha! Reading this made me laugh. I have a little chocolate every day! Normally I cut some up into little pieces in my cereal in the morning. Then a little
treat at night. I must agree with Amie, late night chocolate does make me bendy! ;-) My fiance says that I'm very naughty and a bad influence on her. But I
practice 5 days a week - don't drink alcohol, smoke or take drugs and I go to bed early! So it's coffee and chocolate for me and I have em whenever I
fancy. In fact I think I'll have a little piece of toblerone right now.

i have a chocolate breakfast, chocolate lunch and chocolate dinner, all washed down with a cup of hot chocolate! No chocolate = no ashtanga. The day you stop
craving chocolate is the day you really start worrying! Eat it! The body has a natural intelligence and moves towards what it wants regardless of your will.
hey, gstar, nice website, i teach daily mysore class up here in Newcastle, nice to know about other uk peeps slamming the mysore mat

I believe your body is craving something that you are not feeding it. The Easter bunny you ate has been stripped of the very thing you are craving. Your body
knows that what it is craving, is normally found in the chocolate bunny. I believe that if you made your own chocolate using Cocao beans, this may in turn
satisfy your craving and also your nutrient deficiencies if any. Cocao beans, raw organic and however expensive, will compete against any food out there as
far as protein and mineral content.

why would you deprive yourself of something like chocolate or any thing the body calls out for. even though I've given up red meat my body naturally has a
craving for something other than vegetable based protein. everything in moderation, too much of anything is not consistent with having discipline.
solar great website, glad I stumbled into here today. the article about raw cocao has me thinking. I'm on the MIS website but its very nice here as well.
As long as there is an openness to ourselves and the universe we can fully be the evolved being we were always meant to be...
