In December 2008 Yoga Manchester hosted a charity event to raise money for Operation Shanti, who work to feed and clothe the poor and the needy of Mysore South India. The event included a yoga demonstration Indian dancing and the premiere of the short film Goonda - a beautiful film about the Indian children who benefit from the Operation Shanti charity.
