I would welcome suggestions as to how to deal with this scenario. The shala is overbusy at the moment, so I don't get the luxury of choosing a space. I guess at least it might help to reduce the numbers though...........

Flatulance in class..... |

Most of us have done it "occassionally", but what on earth can be done when a student does so repeatedly, and I mean daily. Normally in the
finishing room and, if I'm really unlucky, right next to me while I'm in Utpluthih (and, believe me, that's not a very nice way in which to
finish).

It's a tough one. I understand your problem (trust me, I really do). I guess someone should talk kindly to the offender, but tactfulness
not being one of my key skills, it won't be me.

Can someone yell out "Bandhas!!" ??

No, because it sounds too much like 'Bad Arse'!

Look at the bright side. It is worse having flatulence during practice than becoming the victim.

How do you work that out?!?! It's always better to be the one who dealt it than the one who smelt it !?!?!

Even worse ..... is someone else taking advantage of an audible queef to release an inaudible fart; thus ensuring the queefer gets the hairy eyeballs.

You poor thing, Mr Ben! Short of being able to choose your space (which you mention is not a luxury right now), I'm not too sure what you can do about
it... If you get to know the person particularly well, you could always slip in a diplomatic comment, as other posters have suggested. If it happens every
single day for that particular person, it sounds as if something is not right - maybe they have a food intolerance, or maybe they eat just before they go to
class...? As you say, most people don't have that problem on a regular basis. I would be inclined to feel more sympathetic for someone if they had a
genuine digestion problem.
